Babbar Sakayya Book Two Complete Hausa Novel

As soon as the sound of sirens was heard approaching, the school gate was opened for them.

From the moment Nafisa heard that Alhaji Abdulhamid Mai Nasara had arrived, she could no longer control herself. Her eyes remained fixed on the entrance, watching eagerly for the vehicles to drive into the school compound.

The convoy drove straight into the parking area and stopped.

Almost five minutes passed before the doors of the vehicles were finally opened.

What happened next immediately attracted the attention of almost every student and teacher in the girls’ school.

Tears slowly began to gather in Nafisa’s eyes. They were not tears of sadness, but tears filled with deep admiration, love and affection for Alhaji Abdulhamid.

At last, Allah had fulfilled one of her greatest wishes.

She was finally seeing the man she had admired for so long.

Fateema stood beside her, watching her reaction in disbelief.

“I am finished, Nafisa!” she exclaimed. “What kind of love is this that you have for this man?”

“Even before you ever knew you would meet him, your heart had already fallen for him just from the messages you read and the stories you heard about him.”

She stared at her friend suspiciously.

“Nafisa, are you sure this is ordinary admiration?”

Nafisa sighed deeply.

“You will never understand, Fateema. His love is already inside my blood.”

“Please, Fateema, I just want to stand close to him. I want to touch him, even if it is only once. Maybe then my heart will finally calm down.”

Fateema’s eyes widened.

“You must be crazy! Do you even know how old that man is?”

Then she lowered her voice and asked, “Nafisa, don’t tell me you actually love him enough to want to marry him?”

Nafisa immediately protested.

“Marry him? Are you serious? He could almost be my father. Have you not seen his children?”

Fateema shrugged.

“So what? If you love him, why can’t you marry him?”

“No, that is not what I mean,” Nafisa replied. “My greatest wish is simply to hug him.”

Before they could finish their conversation, the sound of gunshots suddenly rang through the air as part of the ceremonial arrival.

Military vehicles and sirens filled the compound, creating an impressive scene.

Every student turned to watch.

Alhaji Abdulhamid himself was overwhelmed with happiness because the person he loved had finally recovered enough to attend the event.

The vehicles stopped in the parking area.

Then one of the doors opened.

A strong, well-groomed leg stepped out first.

The skin was so clean and bright that it almost seemed to glow.

Without wasting time, he took out a pair of white glasses and put them on before stepping fully out of the vehicle.

“Wow! Masha Allah!” could be heard from different directions.

That day, he was dressed in an elegant blue shadda outfit with a beautifully tailored flowing babban riga.

The clothes fitted him perfectly.

He was naturally fair-skinned and handsome, although he had lost a little weight because of the time he had spent receiving treatment in the hospital.

From the moment he stepped out of the vehicle, whispers of admiration spread throughout the school.

Some of the girls stared openly, some looked as though they might faint, while others could not take their eyes off him.

He walked forward with calm confidence and dignity while soldiers followed behind him.

Eventually, they reached where Alhaji Abdulhamid was standing, watching the person dearest to him with obvious love and affection.

The official programme then began.

After everything was concluded, Alhaji Abdulhamid presented various gifts to the school, from the teachers down to the students.

Nafisa’s Unexpected Move

After the programme, the visitors began heading toward the parking area together with some of the school staff.

Nafisa turned desperately toward Fateema.

“Please, come with me. Can’t you see they are about to leave? Please, just follow me.”

Fateema shook her head immediately.

“Wallahi, I am not going anywhere.”

But before Fateema could even properly turn around, she suddenly realised that Nafisa had already rushed forward.

To everyone’s shock, Nafisa ran straight toward Alhaji Abdulhamid and threw herself into his arms.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un!” Fateema exclaimed. “That’s it. Trouble has finally arrived!”

Mus’af reacted immediately.

With lightning speed, he grabbed Nafisa and pulled her away.

He stared directly into her eyes.

“Are you out of your mind?” he demanded.

Nafisa glared at him angrily, pulled her hand away from his grip and immediately wrapped herself around Alhaji Abdulhamid again.

Mus’af became even more furious after seeing the disrespectful look she had given him.

He pulled her away once more.

Then, without warning, he slapped her.

The sound of the slap left her body trembling.

Nafisa screamed loudly in shock and grabbed the front of Mus’af’s clothes as she burst into tears.

Mus’af said nothing.

The soldiers quickly approached, separated Nafisa from him and moved her aside.

Still furious, Mus’af removed the blue outer shadda garment he was wearing and climbed into the vehicle.

The others followed him and the convoy began to move.

Only Alhaji Abdulhamid remained behind.

He gently held Nafisa’s hand, clearly feeling sorry for her after seeing how swollen and red her face had become.

In his calm and pleasant voice, he said, “Young lady, why did you do something like that?”

“Please don’t behave that way again. It isn’t right.”

Then he added gently, “And forgive him for slapping you.”

Nafisa immediately burst into tears again.

“Wallahi, I love you,” she confessed.

“I couldn’t control myself. That was why I came and hugged you.”

“I have admired you for a very long time, ever since I heard that you were a good and honourable man.”

As soon as she finished speaking, she broke down crying once more.

Alhaji Abdulhamid pulled her close again, this time only to comfort her.

“Alright, that’s enough,” he said soothingly. “Please stop crying, my daughter.”

When he was finally convinced that she had calmed down, he released her.

Before leaving, he offered her a large amount of money.

At first, Nafisa refused to accept it.

But when she noticed his expression becoming serious, she reluctantly took the money and thanked him.
