In his mind, he wonders how the household has suddenly become a place where he must also deal with people behaving as though they have lost control of themselves.
Aunty follows closely behind them, trembling with fear.
When they finally reach the sitting room, Abdurrahim pushes Feeryal onto a chair.
Instead of calming down, Feeryal lets out another terrifying scream.
Speaking with a strange voice, the presence controlling her declares that they must take her away because she has ruined their plan and they will not abandon their mission.
Feeryal tries to rise again.
Aunty bursts into tears and begins pleading desperately.
She begs the unseen beings to have mercy on Feeryal and repeatedly asks Abdurrahim not to allow them to take her away.
According to Aunty, the person speaking is not really Feeryal.
She believes jinn have taken control of her.
Suddenly, Feeryal begins laughing in a disturbing manner.
The strange voice declares that Abdurrahim cannot stop them and insists that they will take Feeryal because their command cannot be allowed to fail.
She makes another attempt to run.
Abdurrahim blocks her movement and causes her to fall.
Feeryal quickly rises again and begins behaving even more dangerously, removing the towel covering her body and attempting to expose herself while laughing uncontrollably.
Aunty is horrified.
She cries out to Allah and condemns the unseen forces for trying to humiliate the young woman.
Abdurrahim, already exhausted and frustrated by the situation, forces Feeryal back under control while Aunty quickly covers her again.
He then sits down, positions Feeryal in front of him and grips her firmly so that she cannot escape.
What happens next changes the confrontation entirely.
Abdurrahim begins reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an.
His voice is clear and powerful as he continues reciting and blowing gently toward Feeryal.
Almost immediately, the mysterious presence inside her reacts violently.
Feeryal begins screaming.
The strange voice demands that Abdurrahim stop, accusing him of burning them with his recitation. The beings ask who he really is and complain that even his touch causes them severe pain.
They warn that they will investigate him and may return because of what he has done.
Still, Abdurrahim does not stop reciting.
The supernatural presence eventually begins begging to leave.
Feeryal collapses onto the floor, rolling and kicking as the voice repeatedly promises that they will leave immediately.
After several violent sneezes and spasms, her body suddenly becomes still.
She lies flat on the floor, breathing heavily.
Aunty quickly rushes toward her and covers her properly before repeatedly calling her name.
“Feeryal, Feeryal.”
She tries to determine whether the young woman has finally returned to herself.
Relieved by what has happened, Aunty thanks Abdurrahim.
But he does not respond.
He simply stands up and leaves the sitting room.
