Hayateeey Book One Complete Hausa Novel

She was driving extremely fast, as though the entire road belonged to her father, while repeatedly questioning herself in her mind.

Had she really seen a human being, or was he some kind of spirit?

Immediately, she answered herself:

“No, he is human.”

She said this while striking the steering wheel of her car.

A moment later, a smile appeared on her face, revealing her dimples and her perfectly white teeth.

She said:

“Ya Allah, now I have finally seen someone in my class. Now I have seen the kind of man I should marry. Wherever you are, I will find you. You will fall in love with me. In my whole life, there has never been a man who looked at me without feeling something in his HAYAAT.”

She Arrives at the University of Maiduguri

She continued driving until she finally arrived at the University of Maiduguri.

As soon as she entered the university, she drove straight to the parking lot and parked her car.

She walked with such confidence that it almost seemed as though she did not want her feet to touch the ground.

She continued until she reached the Faculty of Science.

From there, she went directly to the Microbiology Laboratory.

Even before she entered, she could already hear the loud noise being made by the students inside.

Kas! Kas! Kas!

The sound of her high heels immediately warned the students that their lecturer was approaching.

The moment she entered, the entire laboratory became completely silent, as though those same students had not been making noise only seconds earlier.

After composing herself, she placed her handbag down and said:

“Sorry I am late.”

The Mycology Lecture Begins

She began delivering a lecture on Mycology.

She had not even spent five minutes teaching when she suddenly heard a mobile phone ringing among the students.

Her face instantly became even more stern.

She said:

“I guess this is the end of my lecture for the whole semester. I told you people time without number to switch off your goddamn freaking phones whenever I am inside this damn lab. So you caused this. Till we meet in my test and exams… Bye.”

Immediately, she picked up her handbag and walked out of the laboratory.

The Students React to Her Anger

The moment she left, the laboratory erupted into noise.

Some of the students shouted:

“We are sorry, Ma!”

Others began hitting and insulting the student whose phone had rung.

Some of them cursed angrily, while others complained about their lecturer.

They said:

“She is still so young, yet she has such an unbelievable temper. Honestly, some of these young lecturers have terrible attitudes, especially those in the Microbiology Department.”

Meanwhile, she continued walking without paying attention to them.

Her Mind Remains on the Mysterious Rider

She returned to the parking lot, entered her car and drove away from the university at high speed.

Even while driving, her mind remained completely occupied with the young man she had encountered earlier.

That is where her part of the story ends for now.

Back to LBR

“Issam…”

She whispered the name softly, tears already resting on her face.

Her younger sister touched her, bringing her back from the deep thoughts into which she had fallen.

Her sister was crying as she said:

“Adda Fido, they have killed our Daddy. Adda Fido, look at Daddy! He is not breathing.”

Fresh, burning tears immediately rolled down Fido’s cheeks.

She pulled her younger sister into her arms and hugged her tightly.

She said:

“Easy, Habibti. Calm down, Shamcy. Dad is not dead. He is alive, In Shaa Allah.”

As she spoke, she gently rubbed her younger sister’s back.
