Sai Na Auri Marubuci Book One Complete Hausa Novel

Sai Na Auri Marubuci Book One Complete Hausa Novel opens with a young girl who could not have been more than seventeen years old.

She was lying peacefully asleep, looking cheerful and completely relaxed. The gentle smile spread across her face was enough to show that she was experiencing something delightful in her sleep.

She held a Hausa novel tightly against her chest as though she feared someone might suddenly snatch it away from her.

It was another of the dreams she regularly experienced. Although the dreams appeared almost every day, each came with a different story and style.

But what was happening in today’s dream?

Let us take a glimpse inside Nafeesa’s dream.

Nafeesa’s Romantic Dream About Nafseen

“Nafeesa, do you believe there is another woman I could ever love the way I love you? Do you think I could speak words of love to another woman after meeting you?” Nafseen asked while sitting before her.

He continued looking deeply into her eyes.

“There is no doubt that you are my choice and the fulfilment of my greatest desire. I love you more than Majnun loved Layla. I need you more than a fish needs water to survive.”

Nafeesa adjusted her sitting position and continued staring at him. A beautiful smile appeared on her face before she began speaking.

“If love could be weighed on a scale, I am certain that the love I have for you could never be measured,” she replied.

“Just as a human being cannot survive without water, I feel that I cannot live without you. You have become the blood flowing through my body, the breath inside me and the source of my happiness.”

Her eyes remained fixed on him as she continued.

“I used to believe that you were beyond my reach and that I could never have you in my life. But today, I am sitting beside you while you openly declare your love for me.”

She moved closer to him emotionally.

“Please, Nafseen, spend your life with me. Do not abandon me, and please do not tell me that everything happening now is merely a dream.”

Nafseen reached forward and held her hand. He was about to respond when Mama suddenly entered the room and struck Nafeesa on the back.

Mama Interrupts the Beautiful Dream

Nafeesa continued talking in her sleep.

“Please tell me that you love me one more time. Do not leave me,” she pleaded.

Mama struck her again, causing Nafeesa to wake suddenly and return to her senses.

“Mama, you frightened him away!” Nafeesa cried. “Tell him to return today and tell me that he loves me. Mama, please ask him to come back!”

Mama clicked her tongue impatiently.

“Stop this foolishness before I slap you. Get up immediately and perform your prayer, you foolish girl,” she ordered.

Nafeesa carefully looked around the room. Everything indicated that she and Mama were the only people present.

She immediately began crying.

“Mama, I swear that if I do not meet him and marry him, I will die. I must marry a writer!” she declared before bursting into even louder tears.

Nafeesa Must Marry a Writer

A deep feeling of sadness and concern overwhelmed Mama. She walked out of the room without saying anything else.

Inside her heart, however, troubling thoughts continued to disturb her.

“I do not understand this strange love she has developed for a man she has never seen. Everything started simply because she read his books,” Mama thought.

“Could some spirits have entered Nafeesa’s body? I must inform Abhee about everything happening tonight.”

Mama then returned to her room.

Nafeesa remained where she was and held the novel even more tightly against her chest. She continued crying until she had cried enough.

Afterward, she performed ablution and observed her prayer.

As soon as she finished, the first thing she asked from Allah was to allow her to meet her beloved writer, Nafseen. She also prayed that Allah would grant her the opportunity to marry him.

Nafeesa Draws the Writer of Her Dreams

After completing her supplication, Nafeesa stood and walked outside with the novel still in her hand.

She sat in the open courtyard of their family home and picked up a piece of chalk. She began drawing on the ground while singing quietly to herself.

At first, anyone looking at the drawing would have assumed she was creating meaningless lines. However, as she continued, a remarkably beautiful portrait gradually began to emerge.

Surprisingly, Nafeesa had never met Nafseen. Nevertheless, she drew his appearance and features with extraordinary accuracy.

Anyone who personally knew Nafseen and saw Nafeesa’s drawing would have believed that she knew him extremely well.

The truth was that she had never seen him before. From the beginning to the end of the portrait, she simply followed the mysterious description whispered to her by her heart.

When the drawing was complete, Nafeesa stood and admired it with overwhelming happiness. She felt as though the real Nafseen was standing before her.

The Hausa Novel That Captured Nafeesa’s Heart

Among the books she had brought outside, Nafeesa selected one titled Yar Auta, written by Jameel Nafseen.

She began reading it calmly but eagerly, turning from one page to another with growing excitement.

Whenever the story was written by Nafseen, his unique writing style always carried Nafeesa’s heart away.

She became completely absorbed in the novel and forgot everything happening around her.

Her younger brother, who was no more than eight years old, came outside while kicking a football.

Without noticing what he had done, the ball rolled across the portrait and erased part of Nafeesa’s drawing of Nafseen.

Nafeesa suddenly felt a terrible sensation inside her body. She quickly looked down and saw the damaged portrait.

To her, it appeared as though the real Nafseen had been involved in a terrible accident.

She drew in a long, frightened breath and immediately collapsed unconscious in the courtyard.
