Babana Da Mijina Book One Complete Hausa Novel
Babana Da Mijina Book One Complete Hausa:
The alarm clock hanging on the parlor wall struck exactly one o’clock at night.
She turned her gaze away from the clock and redirected it to the TV screen, watching Al Jazeera.
She was sitting on the sofa, dressed in a silky, bright white nightgown.
She wasn’t strikingly beautiful, but she possessed a modest beauty of her own, accompanied by an exceptionally high level of class and dignity.
On the bridge of her nose was a natural birthmark that suited her well, complemented by her fair skin tone.
From where she sat, she heard her father’s car pull up. If it was a matter of being used to it, she was already accustomed to this behavior from both her father and her husband regarding late-night outings and late returns. At least her father was a politician—the Deputy Governor of Kebbi State—and they frequently held late-night meetings; sometimes they even gathered at their house, and she could hear their commotion all the way from her own section of the home.
Not long after he pulled up, she heard him enter his apartment. She yawed and stretched drowsily just as her husband walked into the parlor holding a large soccer ball.
He wasn’t startled in the slightest to see his wife waiting up for him at that hour, as she was accustomed to doing so.
She fixed her eyes on him with an unreadable expression, her face void of cheer. He tossed aside the ball in his hand and pulled off his socks, his eyes remaining glued to her the entire time.
Once he finished taking them off, he let out a soft sigh. All his focus and attention were entirely on her, leaving him feeling somewhat flustered. There was a gentle, piercing look in her eyes—a look that God has not bestowed upon every woman. He walked over to her with a proud, dignified stride, sat down beside her, and placed his hand over hers.
“Please understand, Iman, just like always, playing football is something that…” He cut himself off, silenced by the intense look she gave him.
“As far as I know, football is played during the day or in the morning. But as for you guys, I don’t know what kind of game yours is that can only be played at night.”
He stared deeply at her.
“Iman, don’t you trust me? Or are you suspecting me?”
